How to Create a Defined Lip Line

We're continuing our makeup tutorial series...

Some women notice that as they age, their lip line becomes less defined and less contrasting. Even if this isn't a concern for you, why not emphasize those beautiful lips? Well-defined lips will make your makeup look more expressive and attractive.
To create a perfectly defined lip line, follow these steps using quality cosmetics.

Where to start?

Preparation is key: your lips should be smooth and well-hydrated. To achieve smoothness, use a specialized lip scrub. After that, apply a lip balm or moisturizer and let it absorb for a few minutes.

❗We recommend applying lip balm regularly.

Using Lip Liner and Lipstick:

-Choose a lip liner that matches your natural lip color or the shade of your lipstick;
-Carefully outline your lips, starting from the center of your upper lip and gently moving towards the corners;
-Then do the same from the center of your lower lip to the corners;
-Try to make small, delicate strokes; this will give your look a more natural appearance.

Next up. Lipstick base.

-Keep "coloring in" your lips with a lip pencil to create an even base for your lipstick. This will help increase the longevity of the color and prevent smudging;
-Then, evenly apply your lipstick without going outside the lip line. This way, you can achieve maximum color saturation and define the edges more clearly. The base will prevent the lipstick from feathering and settling into the cracks of your lips.

❗Make sure to carry your lipstick and lip pencil in your handbag for touch-ups throughout the day.

If you’re considering lip tattooing or permanent makeup:

1. Definitely consult with a trusted permanent makeup specialist.
2. Discuss all the details and your wishes BEFORE the procedure.

We hope our tips help you feel more confident and attractive. And even if it seems like it’s not going quite well at first, practice your makeup skills more often. Over time, you’ll get the hang of it.
