10 Foods That Make You Look Young
Our outer beauty and brightness are a direct reflection of your inner health. The foods we eat have a definite impact on our source of youth, even at the cellular level. To look and feel good, it's important to diversify your diet with foods high in powerful antioxidants.
1. Coconut oil
There are only a few substances on our planet that can compare to coconut oil. This multifaceted, highly nutritious product is useful for skin care, hair care, and anti-inflammatory properties, benefiting your body inside and out. Coconut oil is antibacterial and antimicrobial, making it a great addition to your diet and beauty routine to fight the signs of aging.

Studies show that regular consumption of coconut oil supports and heals digestion. It has a positive effect on the delicate balance between good and bad flora, making it easier to digest antioxidant-rich foods.

How to use:

-Use coconut oil when cooking on low or medium heat
-Add a spoonful of coconut oil to your morning smoothie for a delicate texture and flavor
-Use coconut oil as a moisturizer for your skin
2. Turmeric
You may have heard of turmeric as the yellow spice added to curries, but this powerful antioxidant-rich product has many more benefits. Turmeric is known for its remarkable ability to scavenge oxygen radicals, a well-known measure of antioxidant content.

Throughout history, turmeric has been used in Ayurveda and traditional Chinese medicine for its anti-inflammatory and healing properties. Studies show that turmeric may help reduce arthritis symptoms and support digestive health. Additionally, turmeric may help fight ulcers and cancer, leaving you feeling young, invigorated, and full of vitality.

How to use:

-Use turmeric powder in curries
-Add fresh turmeric to soups and stews
-Try turmeric tea by mixing a teaspoon of ground turmeric with a teaspoon of raw honey in a cup of warm water.
3. Avocado
Native to South America, avocados are grown in virtually every tropical climate around the world. This particularly nutritious fruit is packed to the brim with healthy fats (monounsaturated and polyunsaturated), vitamin E, and chlorophyll. Therefore, avocados improve cardiovascular function, help lower cholesterol, balance blood sugar levels, and rejuvenate the skin. This fruit contains many antioxidants that you would want to include in your diet.

How to eat:

Try making yourself the most basic avocado toast with something sweet. Or add slices of the green fruit to a salad. Or whisk it in a blender with raw cacao powder and natural honey for a delicious vegan mousse. You can also make a moisturizing rejuvenating face mask by mixing avocado with one tablespoon of coconut oil.
4. Natural chocolate
Throughout history, natural chocolate (otherwise known as cacao) has been called the food of the gods. The cacao bean is a jungle revered food that is high in individual elements and antioxidants to promote health. Cacao beans were first cultivated about 15,000 years ago - thus natural chocolate can be considered an ancient particularly nutritious food.
Natural chocolate is a unique product that fills your body with rejuvenating antioxidants that fight inflammation, strengthen heart function, and boost immune function.

How to eat:

- For best results, it's best to buy high-quality natural chocolate from the market (75% cocoa or higher) or sugar-free natural cocoa powder.
- Make a warm natural drink: cocoa, 2 cups of your favorite milk, 2 tablespoons of natural cocoa powder, and 2 teaspoons of natural honey.
- Eat a couple of pieces of natural dark chocolate in the afternoon.
- Or melt equally dark chocolate and coconut oil and chill the resulting mixture in mini molds - or your favorite mold - and you'll have a delicate delicious nutritious truffle.
5. Apple cider vinegar
Apple cider vinegar is made from apples split through fermentation. This centuries-old elixir promotes rejuvenation. Apple cider vinegar is rich in probiotics and enzymes, supports the cardiovascular system, boosts immunity, and improves insulin response. Apple cider vinegar is rich in antioxidants and is an inexpensive and effective addition to your grocery cart.

Directions for use:

- Add a teaspoon to a glass of water.
- Add along with olive oil to a salad.
- Pour a cup of apple cider vinegar into an evening bath as a medicinal remedy to soothe the skin.
6. Leafy kale
Green juices, green smoothies, and mixed leafy greens in salads are on the crest of popularity today. But have you heard of leafy kale, the forgotten dark-colored and leafy relative of curly kale (kale)? Native to the cabbage family (along with broccoli, white cabbage, radishes, Brussels sprouts, and cauliflower), leafy kale is a tasty and nutritious food high in antioxidants and vitamin C.

Leafy cabbage is also rich in potassium, iron, and calcium. Along with these vital nutrients, leafy cabbage also promotes rejuvenation, it has elements such as cancer-fighting metabolites that have been shown to reduce excess estrogen in the body. These phytonutrients help balance hormones and reduce the risk of breast cancer, alleviating many of the common health problems women face as they age.

How to eat:

-Leafy cabbage is traditionally cooked over low heat, in fat, which promotes the release of carotenoids (health-promoting antioxidants). Stew kale in your favorite sauce, add it to soup, stews or try it raw as part of a burrito-like wrapped Mediterranean hummus wrap.
7. Pomegranate
Pomegranate, is sometimes called the queen of all fruits. It is known as one of the best foods with anti-aging properties and rich in antioxidants. Pomegranate is rich in flavonoid, an element known as anthocyanin (an antioxidant responsible for the dark red color in foods such as raspberries, blackberries, red cabbage, and red onions). Studies show that anthocyanin has anti-inflammatory effects on the body, as well as blood pressure, cardiovascular health, liver function, and cancer prevention.

Research shows that pomegranates contain a special molecule that, when converted by good microbes in the gut, allows muscle cells to resist one of the main causes of aging - degradation of the cells' mitochondria. Pomegranates, therefore, help prevent conditions such as muscle degeneration and Parkinson's disease.

How to eat:

-Pomegranate is a tasty treat on its own, but you can also add its juicy seeds to a salad, your morning oatmeal, or mix partially carbonated water and pomegranate juice for a refreshing antioxidant-rich drink.
8. Sea Salmon
Sea salmon contains several powerful anti-aging ingredients that you'll want to include in your diet. Rich in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin D, and collagen, sea salmon is a powerful anti-aging food.

Omega-3 fatty acids have anti-inflammatory properties and help moisturize your skin, making it radiant and supple. Vitamin D protects your skin from the harmful effects of sunlight and free radicals. Collagen, one of the most abundant proteins in your body, is a powerful addition to your anti-aging diet. As we age, natural collagen production decreases, leading to visible signs of aging such as wrinkles, weakened digestion, and arthritis. Incorporating collagen-rich foods like sea salmon into your diet can help stimulate collagen production.

How to eat:

Grill or bake salmon with vegetables. Enjoy smoked salmon as a snack or try different types of salmon sushi if you love sushi.
9. Beetroot
Beetroot is known for its health-promoting properties and nutritional composition. It has been used as a healing and rejuvenating food in Ayurvedic and traditional Chinese medicine for centuries. In addition to being rich in antioxidants and trace minerals, beetroot contains dietary nitrates which are converted into nitric oxide in the body. Research shows that beetroot supports heart health, lowers blood pressure, boosts physical performance, and protects brain cells.

How to eat:

Roast beets in the oven with olive oil and sea salt. Drink freshly squeezed beetroot juice or add raw beetroot chunks to salads.
10. Natural honey
Natural honey is not just a sweetener but also has healing and rejuvenating properties. Studies show that honey has anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-microbial, and anti-cancer properties. It is full of rejuvenating antioxidants and phenolic compounds that prevent diseases like cancer and diabetes. Honey can stimulate the production of anti-inflammatory cytokines and reduce wrinkles.

How to eat:

Use natural honey as a sweetener in desserts, sauces, smoothies, or drinks. Pour it over yogurt or oatmeal for a sweet flavor, or use it as a condiment with cheese and fruit spreads.

Eat deliciously to stay healthy!
